± This device works like a regular ceiling fan clamp, you need to replace the existing ceiling fan clamp with this device. If anyone attempts to commit suicide by hanging rope or cloth on the fan , the rubber part will come out of assembly and ceiling fan will be left hanging on a spring thus the act is not successful and this can save person’s life. It also holds back the fan to the celing avoiding it to fall on the person and any kind of injury to happen.
